Rage Against Suburban Zombie-ism Tuesday, April 02, 2013 
I know you're all still reelin' from news of MTV's Buckwild star, Shain Gandee's death, a.k.a. "Gandee Candy", but what about Jésus Franco, director of his best known, 1970's film, Vampyros Lesbos??
Aside from lesbian vampires, Franco's other recurring themes included women in prison (lesbian, no doubt!), cannibals, nunsploitation, zombies, giallo, sexploitation...you know, all the good stuff!
Often, his films featured his life-partner, Lina Romay, including many - if not all of 'em - in very compromising positions. After all, they are European.
His films aren't for everyone, but I think directing/writing almost 160 of 'em is a testament to a full life.
Rest in peace, Jess.
