Rage Against Suburban Zombie-ism Tuesday, February 05, 2013 or as I'd like to call it, hoi + bun juo = "sea penis". 'til I saw this vid, I didn't realise that sea cucumbers were bottom feeders, but it's ok since I only eat them once a year...for CHINESE NEW YEAR! In the grocery store, they're either frozen or dry, but always scary lookin'. It basically looks like a piece of black turd/severed penis, expensive black turd/severed penis. 
Don't fret though 'cause the celebratory dish looks somewhat better like this...
sea cucumber + Shiitake black mushrooms + some other kind of seafood like shrimp/scallops + maybe some Chinese green veg/brocolli
