Umm...this looks absolutely terrifying.
I hate remakes, but I will watch them especially if they're of horror movies 'cause of updates in sfx. An example of a good remake, that I watched recently, was 2010's I Spit On Your Grave. Not for the faint of heart!
According to this trailer for the new Evil Dead, it looks as though they've completely removed all the camp in the 1981 original and replaced it with not only (more realistic lookin') coloured contacts, latex, fake blood, but sheer terror.
The question is though, will it be any good??
