Rage Against Suburban Zombie-ism Friday, October 14, 2011  The Ides of March: The poster is better.This review is long overdue as I watched this George Clooney-directed film on opening day. One word...okay 2: Overhyped and disappointed. Honestly, this poster is better than the film itself! I felt like I was watching some CNN special on what goes on, behind-the-scenes, of a US election. Without giving any spoilers, the BIG climax/"conspiracy" isn't even all that as inferred by the trailer. George Clooney is well...err...umm...George Clooney. His acting never varies or deviates. And Ryan Gosling's acting chops weren't really challenged. He also keeps his clothes on which is another strike against this movie. So if you missed this flick, don't feel bad.
