Rage Against Suburban Zombie-ism Sunday, April 17, 2011  Why I'm not blogging as much...I was a bit concerned as to why I haven't been blogging as much as I used to. And I think I've figured it out: Feedback + money really are motivating factors. To give you an idea, here's the cycle of how things work as a writer: More Feedback + More Money (or at least some) = More Writing No Feedback + No Money = No Writing I do get paid, it's not much, to write for another website. In turn, I've been writing more frequently there. However, I also receive feedback which is encouraging and sorta telling me that I am writing about something that people can relate to. Here, on the other hand, rarely do I receive a comment - even a bad one! Perhaps it's the red tape of signing in order to leave a comment, but my counter has also been "stuck" as of lately. ;) So needless to say, the lack of interest contributes to...err well...my lack of contribution. I intend to continue personal blogging, but I do hope for more motivation, especially where more readers are concerned!
