Rage Against Suburban Zombie-ism Wednesday, April 20, 2011 At least she didn't die in vain...completely. I've been completely obsessed with the webcam murder case of 23yo, York University student from China, Liu Qian. On Friday, Liu was chatting online with her boyfriend who was in Beijing, China when someone knocked at her door, was let in, a struggle ensued which ultimately lead to Liu's death. The boyfriend witnessed a part of the confrontation up 'til the webcam was shut off. The police are being tight-lipped about the exact cause of death, but apparently, there were no signs of trauma to the body or sexual assault. Liu was naked from the waist down. It was just a matter of time, but police finally made an arrest today. The accused is 29yo, Brian Dickson. No photo of Dickson has been released as of yet, but the media will have a field day tomorrow as he is scheduled to appear in court. Maybe I should be the creeper and Facebook his name?? Prior to his arrest, Liu's friends mentioned to the media about an unwanted persuer/stalker who was constantly texting her. Since this murder mystery has all the makings of a Hollywood movie, it's no wonder why it has caught the international media's attention! I don't know how else to say this, but if I were murdered, I'd want a witness so that there's at least a chance that my killer would be caught! If all fails, I'd haunt the shit out of the killer so he'd confess to someone, then die of a heart attack/slow and painful suicide.
