Sad, but True

During uni, I worked at a large chain music store. ('burbs, remember? Think malls, not cool, indie places like in the movies!) One of my supervisors at the time told me that Corey Haim would hang 'round the DVD section, especially near "his movies", at the Yonge/Eglinton location.

(Don't quote me on the exact intersection as it's been quite some time since this story was recounted. However, I do remember that it wasn't a downtown location.)

I guess Haim frequented the place enough that some of the staff would recognise him. A friend of my supervisor did say something to Haim and he invited that friend back to his place to "play Xbox + smoke up".

Despite this story, I prefer to remember Haim in his heyday. News of his death is still a complete bummer to me.
