Rage Against Suburban Zombie-ism Tuesday, February 16, 2010  From Chinatown To Downtown: Denim-print LeggingsBack in the Summer, I saw a pair of denim-print leggings - complete with printed-faux pockets - at work. We're talking Chinatown styles. I was gonna pick 'em up for...jokes. And it's not as if I take my fashion cues from the mall, but guess what I just saw at H&M??!! Faux denim leggings. (Aside: Other looks from the mall included lacey tops, pastel colours, and floral everything! Basically, a throw-up of everything that I wore in grade school. One thing that I did see that was a good idea were skinny jeans, made out of actual thin, soft denim...with a thick, elasticised waistband!) Although it hasn't snowed much, we're still very much in the depths of Winter here in Canada. So it's difficult to say whether or not these denim-print leggings will eventually end up on a discount rack OR blow-up as a full-on trend for Spring 2010! So I guess if I wanted to be super trendy, I should take my fashion cues from my nightmare...6-8 months ago!
