Rage Against Suburban Zombie-ism Tuesday, September 08, 2009 "Second Chance" To: J One of the ways that I even remotely keep my finger on the pulse of music is through the mixes that my friend, W sends me. Thank God for W, as I don't listen to the radio (lame) + (luckily?) don't have a desk job that allows me to listen to online radio. "Second Chance" was recently included and I sorta dismissed it 'cause it was too shoegazery for my taste. (It really picks up in the bridge though! And those lyrics are soo haunting.) I didn't put 2+2 together that Liam might be related to the Finns of Crowded House fame, but he's actually Neil's eldest son. After hearing the uncanny similarity in their voices, it totally makes sense now. It sorta weird-good when talent is genetic. Shit. My children will be total hacks.
