I just had a previous-life flashback. There was this one Summer that I'd go with a gf to Whiskey Saigon every single Sunday. I remember having these passes and they wouldn't take them away at the door, so we used them to get in.

On the top floor, they'd play '80s, the second was like goth/grunge or other darker, '90s tunes, and there was also a nice roof-top patio. We'd check out the 2nd floor, but mainly stayed on the '80s floor, dancing on top of a stage.

I was convinced that the place was magical!

Whiskey Saigon has long since been closed, but continues to live on through songs like this...
