Rage Against Suburban Zombie-ism Thursday, September 20, 2012 Pitch Perfect??
...when everything is in the damn trailer??
Anyway, I'm the last person to be offended by anything, but what's with the negative, stereotypical portrayal of Asians in this flick?? (I just saw the sneak preview, so I'm not referring to this trailer.) It's actually flat-out RACIST. And trust me, I'd probably be the first person to tell a racist joke, but at least I make it known that I KNOW BETTER.
I'm talking about ALL the Asian characters, 1 primary and the rest 'extras', didn't come off as ironic, but rather mean-spirited way. It was as though the writer/whomever allowed these Asian caricatures screen time had something personal against the race as a whole.
So if you're Asian and get a chance to watch this film, please drop me a line to let me know what you think.
