Rage Against Suburban Zombie-ism Wednesday, August 05, 2009  Promotion?I don't mean to belittle their situation, as I'm sure it was hell. However, the mind is strong and has the ability to compartmentalise, "block things out", protect itself through amnesia, etc. (There was never a doubt in my mind that they'd be released. I mean with such a high profile case, were they just expected to rot in some North Korean, hard labour camp? As if!) Having said that, doesn't this homecoming almost guarantee a promotion of some sort? That's better than being known as "Lisa Ling's sister" or "that other chick", isn't it? Can I get an "Amen"?
