Decided to start with this 'cause I'm a relatively +ve type o' gal. :( News: I'm not back on online dating, so unfortch, these posts will be a rarity. Of course, if there's carry-over, I'll share. Btw, notice that I refrained from using the b-word? ...: So, I had a date scheduled last night. Aside from it being on a Friday night dinner with LOCALDUDE, no other details were confirmed. Shady #1. (Backstory: Before any talk about this meeting, the last that I spoke with him was at least 3 weeks ago. He suggested going out at that time, but then dropped off the face of the earth. Whenever I'd be on MSN w/ him, he got sexual with me, but when we'd speak on the phone, he seemed like a decent guy with good intentions. Anyway, I totally called him out on his disappearance and said that I was not impressed. I added that if he really wanted to see me, he'd call me and he did!) After I got off work, I receive a txt from him saying that he was just told that he had to stay late and work on a project 'til he was finished. There was absolutely no indication of what time this would be. Shady #2: Why the txt and not a phone call? Whatevs. Feeling rundown by the week & dismal weather, I basically crashed after work. At ~11pm, I get another txt from LOCALDUDE: I JUST GOT HOME. WHAT ARE YOU UP TO? Shady #3: It's 11-fuckin'-PM. He basically blew my Friday night - I was rundown anyway, but he doesn't hafta know that! - and he wants to meet up at 11PM??!! (Sure, this is a mere assumption, but in the past, he has suggested that I go over to his place at inappropriate times. I've never met him. He could be a serial killer for all I know. I ain't no dumb ho!) Delete. Turn-off phone. Do not need to deal. Turned on my phone today to find these txts. Not sure of the order of the last 2 messages: 1) JUST GOT YOUR MSG. MAKE PLANS WITHOUT ME. DUNNO HOW LONG I'LL B. Fine. 2) U AROUND? 3) ARE YOU HORNY? Shady #4. Excuse me??!! Who's this guy, Austin effin' Powers??!! And if I was horny, what's it to him? Like I'm gonna rush over, after being stood up, rip-off my clothes, & fuck a stranger! Talk 'bout adding insult to injury. Besides, I'm not even sure what LOCALDUDE looks like! He sent me pics of his 5Xs/week gym torso (cut!), but he had a shaved head (meh!), & in the fuzzy, webcam pic that he did send, he sorta did look like a serial killer. Yet he totally knows what I look like. Yeah, that's fair. Whenever he started becoming sexual with me, I'd tell him that I try not to have any expectations as many of these online meetings were just completely blown outta proportion. I told him, "Who knows, maybe when we do meet, you won't even be attracted to me!" (Unbloodly likely!) However, what I really meant was, "I don't really have a good idea of what you look like, so I might not be attracted to you!" How fuckin' awkward is it to sexually charge-up a meeting, only to be held aback 'cause someone doesn't meet your (physical) expectation?? Don't get me wrong. I need a good drillin' every so often too, but c'mon! Sluts have standards too! And I definitely do not need to be stuffed by someone with a serial killer face, stands me up, & sends cowardice sms instead of trying to catch me live to apologise profusely. The nerve. I don't give an eff how BIG his schlong is, whether or not he likes eating pussy/good in bed, that he's buff, &/or the fact that he's a potential millionaire. DON'T CARE. No one who actually knows what I look like stands me up! The above example just reaffirms my decision to take a hiatus from all this shady, online business.
